Join the fun at the Walker County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 30th from 5pm to 10pm.  Thee will be something fun for the whole family:  Costume Contest, Haunted House, Fireworks Show ! 

Huntsville TX, located in East Texas just an hour north of Houston, TX on Interstate 45 offers a visit full of history, fun and a taste of the "Good Old Days."  Huntsville TX has not been "spoiled" and hasn't lost that quaint "everybody's hometown" feel.  That's why my husband and I visited, fell in love with this place and moved here.

It's an easy place to live.  Neighbors watch out for neighbors, folks "set" on the porch and wave at passer-bys.  Yes, we have shopping and the electricity works 24-7 and NO, the sidewalks do not "roll up" at 5:30pm, BUT, it does maintain an air of a place that would have those attributes.
