CRS--the designation. It's Official --My First Year and a Quarter in Real Estate

Goals--I set some lofty ones for the year. I reached some and other...still shooting for.  Although there are some goals I have not reached, in my first year and a quarter in Real Estate I have acheived the following:

--Helped 32 individuals/families find home or sell home, including 30 home sales and 2 leases (I didn't know any of my clients prior to becoming a Realtor).

--Reached almost 4 million dollars in sales

--#1 Producing Rookie agent in office of over 200 agents

--#3 Top Producing Individual agent in office of over 200 agents

--Completed the requirements for QSC-Quality Service Certified, then achieved and maintained a 5/5 star rating,

--Completed the requirements and earning a GRI-Graduate Realtor Institute (The "Masters Degree in Real Estate)  

--voted Readers Choice "Best Realtor" in Walker County TX

--Formed and Incorporated East Texas Property Search, Inc.  "ETPropertySearch.com ...find home !"

--designed and launched a Hub Website system featuring select East Texas Areas and Subdivisions.

--Launched my blog www.TexasBlogSpot.com

--Was invited to be a "CyberStar" representing Huntsville, TX / Lake Conroe/ Lake Livingston--The Cyberstars® is a family consisting of "by invitation only" membership of top technology agents who incorporate technology as an integral part of their RE business and consists of just over 200 agents nationwide and in Canada. 

--  And, It's official--I just was awarded the CRS designation--Certified Residential Specialist. "The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. Less ...than 4 percent of all licensed Realtors® are Certified Residential Specialists."

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.  I absolutely LOVE what I do.  I have wanted to be a Realtor for a long time (about 17 years).  I decided to make a huge life change and "go for it."  I couldn't be happier I did.  I have met and worked with the most wonderful people in the world.  I have been a part of helping people "find home."  How cool is that?  Home means comfort, love, family, bubble baths, memories, pillow fights, parties, romantic dinners.  It is a SPECIAL place.  I am having more fun than a tick on a bloodhound and way more satisfied.

Real Estate--whoda thunk it.  I have my Masters in Music and thought I would get a Doctorate in Music before I got a "doctorate" in Real Estate.  Chick-a-boom, chick-a-boom---I sure do love it!
